Starptautiskais zinātniskais žurnāls "Механика композитных материалов" ("Mechanics of Composite Materials”) iznāk sešas reizes gadā, sākot no 1965. gada (līdz 1979. gadam – "Механика полимеров”).
Žurnāls vienlaikus tiek izdots gan krievu, gan angļu valodā. Tā tulkojumu angļu valodā publicē Springer Science+ Business Media, Inc.

Žurnāls publicē oriģinālu eksperimentālo un teorētisko pētījumu rezultātus par kompozīto materiālu, kā arī to matricu un stiegrojuma, īpašībām un uzvedību. Īpaša uzmanība tiek pievērsta sekojošām tēmām:  

  • sabrukums, nogurums un ilglaicīgā stiprība;
  • materiālu un konstrukciju optimālās projektēšanas metodes;
  • ilglaicīgo īpašību prognozēšana un novecošanās problēmas;
  • nesagraujošās pārbaudes;
  • tehnoloģijas mehāniskie aspekti;
  • kompozītie materiāli civilajā būvniecībā un infrastruktūrā;
  • nanokompozītu mehānika;
  • biokompozītu mehānika. 

Журнал Механика композитных материалов публикует результаты оригинальных экспериментальных и теоретических исследований свойств и поведения композитных материалов и их составляющих. Особое внимание уделяется следующим проблемам: 

  • разрушение и усталость, длительная прочность; 
  • методы оптимального проектирования материалов и конструкций из них; 
  • прогнозирование длительных свойств и вопросы старения; 
  • неразрушающий контроль; 
  • механические аспекты технологии; 
  • композиты в гражданском строительстве и инфраструктуре; 
  • механика нанокомпозитов; 
  • механика биокомпозитов.

Журнал Механика композитных материалов выходит на русском языке. Одновременно в редакции осуществляется его перевод на английский язык (Mechanics of Composite Materials).

Рукопись статьи оформляется строго по образцу (см. Шаблон оформления статьи) по правилам журнала (см. Правила для авторов). Рукописи и иллюстративный материал в форматах PDF, EPS редакция не принимает.
