Summary
After the brutal attack of 7 October 2023 by Hamas, Israel has in response conducted a merciless campaign in Gaza Strip with unprecedented destruction and violence targeting mostly civilians. The response has garnered international condemnation including the accusation of genocide. The author of this paper analyses objective and subjective criteria of genocide and finds that there is a reason to conclude that Israel has conducted a genocide in Gaza Strip with a goal of full or partial eradication of Palestinians in Gaza Strip.
